Building an inclusive healing ecosystem where BIPOC communities can access mental and holistic wellness in spaces that truly see them.
“To foster a more inclusive healing and wellness ecosystem — by increasing the visibility of underrepresented practitioners, expanding access in underserved communities, and promoting inclusive learning and practice.”

Our Story
As the eldest Filipino daughter of immigrant parents, Maybelle Zante spent years searching for wellness spaces where she felt seen — and consistently not finding them. Donna Wojcik, a Hilot Binabaylan, carries ancestral Filipino healing traditions into every space she holds, and shared the same story as Maybelle when she came up with the idea.
“I walked into the yoga studio — and I was the only one. Now I’m a mother. And I refuse to let my child grow up feeling like the only other.” — Maybelle Zante
What We Stand For
◆
Centering BIPOC voices, healers, and stories in every program and platform we build.
◆
Removing financial, cultural, and geographic barriers to mental and spiritual wellness.
◆
Honoring ancestral and indigenous healing traditions alongside modern practices — without hierarchy.
◆
Believing collective care is as essential as individual care. We heal together.
◆
Structural change, not sympathy, drives our work. We are building systems, not handouts.
What We Do
Community Healing
Facilitated healing circles for BIPOC community members — virtual and in-person, sliding scale or free. Because healing happens in community, not isolation.
✦
Practitioner Support
Stipends, visibility, and support for emerging BIPOC therapists, coaches, and spiritual practitioners. We invest in healers so they can invest in our communities.
Community Access
Pop-up wellness events — breathwork, somatic sessions, mental health first aid — brought directly to underserved neighborhoods. Healing where you are.
Free Resources
A curated digital hub of BIPOC-authored wellness resources, practitioner directories, and cultural healing tools — free and accessible to all.
Together, we are Seen & Well.
The Founding Team
Co-Founder · Community & Strategy
First-generation Filipino-American mother and eldest daughter of immigrant parents. Maybelle built Seen & Well from lived experience of wellness exclusion — so her son, and an entire community, would never have to feel like the only other.
“Now I’m a mother. And I refuse to let my son grow up feeling like the only other.”
Co-Founder · Healing Practice
Hilot Binabaylan — practitioner of Traditional and Indigenous Filipino Healing Arts — and Reiki Master Teacher. Donna spent 15 years as an educator before stepping into healing work full-time. Founder of Kindred Healing Space and Your Kindred Spirit.
“Healing is not something I give you. It’s something I help you remember.”
Co-Founder · Industry & Infrastructure
25 years in spa and wellness leadership. Ceremonialist, oracle creator (Sacred Reflections Oracle), published author, and host of The Flowering Daydream Podcast. A white ally who has chosen to put industry access in service of equity.
“Twenty-five years taught me one thing: the people who need wellness most are the ones it was never designed for.”
